Humanities

The department comprises of four sub-departments: C.R.E, I.R.E, GEOGRAPHY and HISTORY.It is headed by Md. Marion Elegwa closely assisted by various Heads of Subject: Md.Callen(C.R.E), Md.Amana(I.R.E), Mr.Abuga(Geography) and Md.Judith(History).

Our mission is to understand human experiences, cultures, and societies,develop critical thinking and empathy, foster global awareness, tolerance, and civic engagement and to understand ourselves, our communities and the world around us.

Here are the core mandates:To understand beliefs, values, and practices of different faiths, promoting tolerance, moral development, and spiritual growth, to study the earth's physical and human environments, understanding relationships between people, places, and resources, developing spatial awareness and problem-solving skills and to learn from past events, societies, and cultures, developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and understanding of cause-and-effect relationships and inform present and future decisions.
